Before Your First Visit

Thank you for considering the Strauss Chiropractic Center for your chiropractic care!

There are a few things we’d like you to know about us even before your first visit.

Our office is a little unusual.

Judging from the fact that we’ve been serving this same community in this same location for over 40 years, we think we must be doing something right. We are committed to giving the best chiropractic care to as many people as physically possible. Our love of chiropractic and humanity demands it. In order to accomplish that, we have attempted to remove as many barriers as possible for people to receive chiropractic care.

An appointment is never necessary.

In fact, everyone just walks in during our extended hours (M thru F 9 AM to 9 PM & Sat. 9 AM to 1 PM). Because we have open hours for our practice members’ convenience and because we accept new people at anytime, your first visit may take up to an hour. While we are seeing you, we may take a few minutes to see other people who are “old-timers” so that we can keep their visits as short as possible. Rest assured, on your subsequent visits you will be shown the same courtesy. Consequently, we ask that on your first visit you come at least an hour before closing time (8 PM on weekdays and 12 PM on Saturdays).

Our fee system is unique as well.

It has been our choice to enable us to serve as many people as possible for over 40 years. We believe that health, at least chiropractic’s role in your health, should be affordable for all people. For that reason, each person determines his/her own fee for every visit, whatever is within their means to pay. Payment is made anonymously by placing cash or a check into the wall slot in the hallway or by debit/credit card via our “self-serve” machine at the front desk. Either way, your payment is confidential.
